@Rome604 hey Dave forgot to mention the toyota dealer when ahead and did a state inspec for me the other day during service. i never saw anything about the lightbar on the paperwork and i did not have it covered either so thats kinda cool.

 

Sweet! I covered mine last week when I got mine inspected. But I just used a magnetic HVAC vent cover. Cost was about $2. I probably didn't need to since I got it inspected at an Off-road shop.

 

Did you ever finish that switch wiring?

 

oh thats awesome. i kinda wish they didnt inspect it since mine wasnt due til feb and i was gonna try to push to march and than april the next year to match up with my registration but oh well lol.

 

no i seem to have misplaced the button while helping my roommate clean the garage. i know i didnt throw it out but I cant find it.

i definitely used up several hundred miles on a sleeping kid when mine was younger. he doesnt even nap now. he'll regret it one day when he has a job haha

Ok so I’m looking for some feedback. Unfortunately I need to replace the uniball in my UCA’s. Do I upgrade to deltajoints or just stick with the replacements? I have ICON tubular UCA’s before anyone asks.

 

How much more money for delta?

 

$160 for replacement and $262 for deltas. I’m leaning toward spending an extra $100 to something better

 

Not to mention it’s a retro fit from ICON and I do t have to buy new UCA’s.

 

I'd spend the extra money for delta. I haven't don't research on them in awhile but they seem like a superior option, kinda like a hybrid between a uniball and ball joint style.
