Oh I’m gonna hit you alright

“They” won’t be opening a door unless you unlocked it after s remote start. So if they break in and crawl through the window, as soon as the brake pedal is pressed, engine is off. Lots of safe guards.

Only negative is they are not an authorized reseller per Fortin and fortin won’t Warranty, not sure if they provide phone support if needed.

Speaking of Toyota Dealerships...they bought one from me today to sample for a post purchased/pre-delivery Tacoma because thier OEM one is taking too long to release for the Tacoma. Go figure. They don’t even bargain on pricing because it’s already rock bottom. I can only imagine what the consumer is about to pay...oh man. I kind of wanted to ask.

Not to mention they can pull thier listing at anytime and disappear, what then? They can only handle exchanges and refunds, support they’ll tell you call the factory, then the factory will say where’d you buy it...better have rhink about a different response. The truth won’t work here and the proof won’t back neither up. So hopefully you DONT have issues not NEED support. Vendors mandate that authorized retailers and resellers like myself offer support, and be the first line of defense for consumer sales that we are responsible for. Now look at this, compare this level of detail against a company that likes things to be clean and detail oriented, these pictures explain level of care and investment in time willing to be given for a customer and product, it says a lot:

These are how their harness are sent to customers:

    F17864BA-7F53-4AB4-A057-EAF47818D7C5.jpg

And this is how you get it from me:

It takes extra time, actually this part is the most time consuming from the whole kitting and shipping and I dread it, but I won’t not do it:

(Above pictured with smart phone app based control module)

This is what it looks like before being cleaned up. Now as yourself who cares about the product and customer as well as company perception?

    D70CC7F2-514C-4014-9417-D49589CCDCE2.jpg

I clean it up because of any of those “zip tied wires touch each other or the chasis of your vehicle before or after the install, it can short and damage the module rendering it useless. You would be pissed. I don’t want pissed customers. I treat you and your vehicle like it were me and mine.

How bout they do it like other companies. 1st 2 clicks lock the doors and 3rd one starts it, but doors are locked so no one can get in. Once you unlock it and get it press button once to let the truck now it's you. Buddies 2012, a damn 2012 Altima has it that way. Step in hold brake and tap button otherwise it stalls when he takes it out park. Or give us entune 3.0 so we can do that and also control windows like camry

I purchased this off Amazon. Super simple install. The first Fortin unit would not program properly. I messaged them and they sent a replacement unit and a return shipping paid envelope for the faulty Fortin.
Installation took about 15-20 minutes and works perfectly. Only downside is I am not sure if this can be used with the phone app should you decide to use it later.

Sounds like they programmed your first unit incorrectly. I had a user buy from them and purchased the cell module from me. Had to send the unit to me for reprogramming to accept the module.

Aside from him not being an authorized Fortin retailer, he doesn't have a website, or any clear way to contact him aside from the 3rd place market place he's on. If he pulled his listing tonight and went into hiding or stopped selling them for a minute because he didn't feel like it any more or got out of the business, guess what, you've go no where to go and your Amazon receipt is no good with factory direct warranty if you went that route.

Finally, eBay and Amazon sellers aren’t authorized and should they pull their listing, how will you find them for warranty issues? Because without them, your receipt is not good for factory direct warranty or tech support. I am putting emphasis on this point greatly, I know.

Our vendors explicitly tells us we are NOT allowed to sell online in market places, you get cut from the brand if we do as serial numbers ARE tracked through distribution. Just friendly insight, don’t get stuck with a paper weight!

Not to mention, he's deceptive. He's been using my company name as a keyword on google to re-route folks to his amazon store, because his company sucks so much that he needs some strong key search words to phish ad deceive people. Do you really want to buy from a liar who can't drum up his own business that he has to use established company names to save a few extra bucks? Protect your hardware, protect your investment.

This isn’t to give you buyers remorse, but to help others understand deceptive tactics and tell people the truth about where their hard earned cash is going. He won’t our right tell you these things because it’ll affect his bottom line and I’m not here to take away from someone else’s work, but I will when you use my name to sell your stuff. That’s a weasel tactic and I know he reads these posts because his pricing follows my lead each time. The guy used to be selling them for $129 because no one was buying them from him, so he used my name as a keyword for search then raised his prices. He’s not getting them legitametly if he’s selling them for $129 once upon a time. Thats borderline hot/stolen goods.

    At least he admits it...
