My only problem was I didn’t get the 7 Pin adapter to piggyback off of it so I tried to do all of my splices in the BL Brake Light housing. Everything worked great at first but after I put it in drive my turns stopped working unless I turned off and on lights(weird). If I removed the ground it worked fine. After thinking about it I cut the splice at the turn bulb and ran a new wire behind the 7 pin and spliced it there and problem solved. I’ve had to put resistors on all my leds except reverse lights. These trucks just have a very sensitive flasher relay I guess.

 

My understanding is that 2017 and newer do not have a flasher relay. It’s controled by one of the computers. The flasher sound in the dash is fake. I was going to just install a led flasher relay until I found this out. Had to install some resistors.

 

I noticed since removing the chime off the cluster, I dont hear my turn signals anymore.

 

Correct it’s integrated into the ECU
Haven’t found away to control the voltage yet.
The Carista app will let you change some things like how many times the blinker makes with a half push (3,6,8 etc) and turn off chimes seatbelt doors etc

 

Installed Tufskinz interior foam inserts. Pretty straightforward process.

 

If you have an Access Cab be sure to order the 1/2 kit. You’ll save money ! Communicate with Tufskinz customer service, who will set you up with what you need.

 

I have T/S and have not found a way to change the voltage/resistance range in the ECU to allow for LED use. Possibly a tuner like Ovtune could do it.

 

Installed Clazzios. Very happy with the quality. I was debating these vs Leatherseats.com. I chose these because less chance for me to screw up installation, less cost, and the new cloth upholstery is still underneath if I ever want to remove the covers.

Finally got to install my Mobtown Bedrack with Yakima Mega Load Warrior cargo basket. I also added Rhino Rack ski/rod holders.
