I know some don't like the black front corners, but that look is growing on me. I'm weird, I know.

I like the black corners better than the rear Munchkin seats. lol

If a guy wanted he could buy that body part paint matched to the rest of the truck. My black on my truck I noticed a spot where a pebble bounced off it. Left a indent in the black plastic. Better than chipping a piece of paint off in my book though.

Ha! I don't blame you. I was just wondering because I have a 2018 SR 4x4 and I'm looking to put some 17" wheels on but I don't want to lift it.

Your avatar is correct. San Diego does have the best taco's! I'm a SoCal native (1966-2008) and while I miss the food, weather and beach, I LOVE the cost of living here in Tennessee!

i think you can go up to 265/70 on 17" wheels without needing a lift.

yeah i'm on redfin all the time looking at properties in other states and get jealous haha but i'm young and make decent money so it's not too bad if i live within my means which i do (eg: going with the sr instead of pro).

I bought my 2018 SR used (from a Toyoya dealer) and it came with 17" rims w/265-65/17 Toyo tires. They were out on by the dealer to "help sell the truck." No lift. I thought I posted a pic earlier in this thread somewhere - but here it is again...

Finally got rid of the steel wheels! Went to Rotiform Six OR's with Cooper 265/70R17 tires. Also put in Morimoto LED fog lights & HID low beams. Did the "seat mod" too to level out the seating position and it feels much better.IMG-5679.jpg IMG-5688.jpg IMG-5684.jpg

Suspension is all stock (for now)! I am looking into some simple leveling kits and shock upgrades to really complete the truck.

I love the look! How'd you black out the "tacoma" and SR5"?

How difficult was the installation? I have installed amp/headunit many times. I did see the instructions but just from your experience.

It came from a Toyota dealership down south and is the one that they use. Not quite sure if it’s made by Toyota but it does have a Toyota part number (I can dig up the number if u want it). I had a buddy do the install. Took him about half hour; maybe 45 min. Seemed pretty straightforward but above my ability

If I may answer here... I was researching getting that same keyless entry when I was looking to order a Tacoma SR. It seemed to be easy as plug n play into existing wire harness plugs under the dashboard driver's side area. I did not purchase it however, because I was pleasantly surprised that the SR my dealer found for me and I bought, came with the convenience package.
