Hopefully he chimes in. I wouldnt mind selling these. I just dont want to overstep on him. He had the idea and his stuff is awesome. Totally respect everything he has done. But if he's not gonna build anymore I wouldnt mind helping everyone else out that cant follow @DaMaDo 's guide.

I'm a structures and mechanisms design engineer and mainly use Creo/Windchill, but I'm trying to get the agency to switch to NX/Teamcenter. I've been testing NX with a trial license from Siemens for a few months now. We might be getting several analysis licenses and a couple for design, but they will be used on small projects. Eventually hoping for a full switch.

At home I just use Fusion 360 though.

Edit: I recognized NX from the coordinate system.

Nice! Highly recommend. I used Solidworks in college but I really like NX paired with teamcenter after the slight learning curve. The automation capabilities with NX Journals (vb or c# programming) is top notch if you know what your doing.

I actually made a whole video and most of it came out blurry :/

Maybe the one I'll make for a 100AH solar charging station will come out better.

    Looks good @DaMaDo !

@DSIM thanks for the kind words. I had a V2 in the works, but with the new TSB fixing the driveability + all the other projects on my plate the ECT mod got pushed to the bottom of the list. So go ahead it’s all yours.
P.S I do have a bunch of OEM connectors and JST pins if you are interested.

Thanks @mesojdm, sending you a PM on the connectors . Still waiting on the relay / piezo to get in (end of this week) so I can finish up the prototype. After I nail down the parts I want to use I will plan ordering all the parts to do a batch, probably of 25 or so and go from there. Will likely create a new thread on the sale board as not to muddy up yours.

If you want to play a bit more with it and make it super tiny, you could get this tiny arduino board with an SMD relay like this or this. There's also the arduino pico board.

Not a biggie...just hate lights on in the dash that aren’t warning lights. It’s from my pilot days.

Is ECT PWR on by default a variable that could be set with Techstream?

Fully plug and play or does this version still have the power wire? Any benefit over the original version?

Full plug and play. No wire to run, 1 minute job. Rear emitting LED that will shine color though the ECT text for visual indication:D
