I went TC because it was a sure thing, but thought the Baja Kits looked cool. I thought conventional [urethane] bushing etc., was more streetable than joints and uniball, but what do I know. I think those Icon aluminum ones look bad ass.

My BP-51 kit had SPC UCAs thrown in. I like that the factory ABS bracket bolts back up to it. Not a fan of "just zip tie it".

    Plus lots of caster options.

I have the 2nd gen TRD Pro suspension on a 3rd gen, I am running 285/75r16 on Tacoma Pro wheels I have no rubbing at all when turning or driving on the street.....the problem is when going off road my tires rub on the UCA’s when they get stuffed, will simply replacing the stock UCA’s to aftermarket help me or not really?

Not looking to buy new wheels, wheel spacers or down size in tires

Had 2 different sets of the SPC LR UCA's years ago when they were failing or the bushings were defective. Never went back to them, had Camburg Ball Joint UCA's was really disappointed in them. Been on JBA's for over a year now besides the rusting Ball Joints that he replaced for free, and red powdercoating chipping off they are nice. So trying something new again.

As far as I know that was an issue with the original design due to the double washers seizing to the arm and cracking the welds.. they switched to a single washer and different bushing design to correct the issue and recently switched to a cast design.. I just installed the newest design recently and have no issue.. A buddy of mine has been running the single washer version for over a year now with no issue either

I prefer the arms with built in Caster as some shops have no experience with the LR arms

Hah, and I have the cheaper, more tubular-er, dirtier black and silver. Still works pretty good though.

I have the same Icon UCA. I'd recommend investing in the uniball cap... supposed to reduce wear. Not a huge investment for $40.

I ran Camburg uca on my 2012 taco. Great overall but a lot squeaking. If you’re hardcore off-road definitely. Street rig I would go with another style.

Are the caps the same as the new Delta Joint UCA's? If so I have a set new in packages I will mail for free as I won't use them.
