Spacers?!

    Oh , at 2.5'' lift Can my truck fit 285/70/17 ? I know I have to trim and remove front mud flaps but Can the tires fit right ? any one please tell me please. Thanks

    I have 2.5" spacer in front and 1" block in rear and sitting pretty level.


    With the AAL in rear I had the stock rake.

    these guys are a smaller fabrication shop and parts dealer, so they are not very well known, but make a very good spacer. much cheaper than anything else i've seen, but extremely strong. i'm running the 2.5 in spacer temporarily while i save for the foxs from all pro.

    as another member stated above, they ride just slightlystiffer than stock, but in a good way (imo). i'm running these with aftermarket UCSa, which you should get with any type of 2.5+ lift. no worn out parts, and i wheel a lot when i'm down in florida for 9 months of the year.

    You can fit it with some rubbing. Rim offset and the brand of tires affect more than the lift.

    The thing I noticed about my 265 Nittos rubbed on the front plastic when I was 2.5" lift front and AAL rear to keep the stock rake. When I dropped the back down with the blocks the rubbing went away.

    I studied the some rub points and noticed they are not improved by lifting more than 2". But it does look better and gives more clearance under the frame.

    Can i set my 5100 to highest setting @2.5 and add 1" block to the rear to make my truck level right ?

    Each truck is a bit different so here is the way I test the looks of my lift before I order anything.

    1. You need 2 jacks, preferably floor jacks.
    2. Set the truck on a level spot and measure the distance from the ground to the inside the fenders in the front and back. Write these numbers down.
    3. Next, jack up the front frame until the fender raises in the front by 2.5".
    4. Now jack up the rear frame until it is the fender height is what you want. Measure the fender height from inside to the ground. The difference in these two heights will tell you the block thickness you need.

    And now you can see the truck lifted before you buy anything.
