If anything a soft hollow point in 64 grain (like speer gold dot LE, or any other non barrier blind round) would be better than a shotgun man.

Look, I'm not advocating for throwing m855 or m855a1 in your house. But I am saying that if you have to take the fight to someone in your home, I'd advocate for the best possible weapon to use, and considering capabilities, all things weighed, the best option is an AR in 5.56

If you need more than 8 rounds, you are either being shot at by libyans for stealing their uranium or a bad shot.

Killing people is the same no matter what continant your are on, and tactics are always relevant.

I might not know shit about trucks compared to you guys, but firearms has been in my entire adult life, professionally and personally.

Glad you can foresee the outcomes and all possible situations. When you were in law enforcement, did they only issue you 8 rounds? I mean you werent in Libya right?

If all you're worried about is killing people then yes I agree an AR15 is a great choice and a more tactically sound choice than a shotgun. That is not what @ilubtimmyhos and I are arguing. In a lethal force situation you are responsible for every round that leaves your firearm. No matter what kind of stress you are under at the time.

It was a Doc Brown - Back to the Future reference.

You are correct, I can't see all possible situations. I'm just being realistic. And I def wasn't in law enforcement. Just the Army. You may have me confused.

Just voicing an opinion. You are also entitled to yours.

Let's agree to disagree and get back on topic: who has the next big upgrades coming up?

Good Conversation, I agree with the points made here, this is why i keep the hollow point rounds in the .40 and bird shot in the 12g. Specifically to limit the potential for going through drywall.

Had to paint them first. They are done now but with how cold it is, will probably have to install them next week. I'll be gone in FL this weekend. But aren't they pretty?! :bananadance:IMG_20190110_151302.jpg

I'm waiting on my demello bumper and baja designs fogs (should have them from at the end of the month), I have a re route on my exhaust scheduled next week, I still have to finish painting my transfer case skid from mobtown. Then install the rest of the skids too. And have a smittybuilt x20 that needs to be spooled up and wired when the bumper gets here.

Its gonna be a busy 2 months.

    You?

$210 shipped, plus a $200 core charge. Since I don't have 2 good spindles, I'll have to eat the core charge. @glorifiedwelder did a nice job and had them to me in under a week.

That's a good list. I just finished some legit upgrades with the help of @EatSleepTacos Shock reloacate in the rear with 12" king smoothies, ext travel king 2.5s in the front, JBA UCAs colormatched MGM, and will have gusseted spindles on next week. Maybe my truck will be capable of leaving my driveway after lol.

Edit: also adding a mobtown tranny skid once my alignment good to go. It's painted and ready to go on.

Looking at hammer hangers next to get full use out of the rear Kings.

His welds looked good. I saw when he posted it. Your truck is gonna be a baddie 2wd monster.

But I've heard if you have 2wd you cant do anything and are pretty much wasting your money lol

Hey, we did it together. He did all the welds on one side, I did the other. Using 2 welders too. We were both excited to play with our new toys

And yeah, this whole build is so my driveway looks good. 2wd ain't shit. That's what I've heard.
