Hm, interesting. I've done a lift on a Jeep and messed with coil overs on BMWs, but never installed leafs or taken apart a IFS front. I have decent mechanical skills. You think I could do it in an afternoon? Are any special tools required?

How does one recruit help for such an endeavor? I'm really good at supplying beer, liquor, meat.

I have a garage, but I need to measure. I'm somewhat concerned if I lift the truck it won't fit out the garage door.

Nope, good jack, jack stands, i find a shop hoist is excellent for the rear, but not necessary.
Metric wrenches, extra 10mm stuff, hammer.
    Some beers.
Camera for pics of guys in compromising positions under the truck so we can all get a good laugh.

    I take good pictures! :D

Well thats all I'm working with now and the wife seems to be happy...

In all seriousness though - my garage door is really short. Old brick city garage. Actually worried if I even just put a roof rack on it it won't make it out the door.

I am not opposed to this offer.

I'm in early stages of planning. Need to collect me parts, but I will keep you updated.

Would need to replace needle bearing if you go gang busters in the front, and then UCA too - so evaluate that - lots of input here. Would need front alignment too - pretty sure mentioned contacts have sources. DM or call toytec - ask for David and mention TW member for discount.

I plan to replace my rear leafs this summer due to towing/camping load - requires leafs and shocks due to travel - leaving the front as is for now cause I like to drive down hill!

I will make it to mod day if you go that route!

Needle bearing replace will make it almost a full day deal plus you need new Gaskets/ packings/ Seals too. But smart time to do it since everything will be turn apart.

Yea I need to do some more research. I just want some more travel, better ride quality off road, and be able to handle the load when camping. I put 120k on my 14' completely stock banging all over the mountains and fully loaded it could get rough/bottom out.

I also think the 3rd gen looks weird with the stock tires. So a sweet stance is added bonus I guess.

I think I'm going to need to do this soon. I had gotten rid of my drive line vibes after I went to the 1 piece drive shaft, but I just noticed new vibes after my coilover rebuild. The 700lb springs have my truck sitting just slightly higher up front.

I've seen some temps a year past due. I don't think people are prepared for the CO property tax you have to pay here when they register. I believe there are only 7 states you pay the full value every year. When I moved here the lady at the DMV asked me how much I paid in PA. I told her $30 for registration every year, but it was more expensive because it was a truck. She laughed and said "Are you ready for this..."

The trade off is no more annual safety inspections and annual emissions like in PA. They always found a $100 worth of bullshit to charge you for.

Luckily I had a friend that had a shop that was also certified for inspections. $20 for stickers and passed. Had to always get my M3 done there because the exhaust wouldn't pass PA emissions.

The real benefit is not paying the crazy school taxes I had to pay for owning a home. We don't even have kids. I'll take CO property taxes over PA school taxes any day.

Any suggestions on how to get this wheel stud flush? I've hammered away with an impact and it'll get halfway

Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
Use whatever you have laying around as a spacer and tighten a lug down on it.

i've done it with a flat washer and a lugnut. Just tighten it down. Maybe a little tri-flow or some kind of oil to help it along.
