    Nice I should do that...you're right, it sucks bad when you have wet shoes and you go to shift and accidentally pop the clutch hard because your shoe slips off it

    My stock ones are still in good shape so I was planning on just putting some skateboard grip tape on them but this is probably a better long term solution

    The stock ones are actually pretty tough. Mine weren't all that bad, even after 316k miles. The clutch one had popped off at some point and started to wear thru the edge.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    I had the same issue with my fresh water jugs. Some dawn and a half a day soak then vigorous rinsing helps. Also don't fill from tap water where you live, the chlorine taste seems to multiply haha.

    Thanks for the explanations.

    The SG also considers distance traveled in its calculations. It gets this info from the ECU so changing tire size has to be accounted for.
