Cranked mine up a full 1" and have 650lb springs. I am running full skids and DOM side bars. Only lost 1/4" with all the steel. I absolutely love the way my truck rides. I ran Hells Revenge in Moab along with 7 other trails. Never got stuck or had to winch. Air lockers helped alot in the toughest spots.

That looks like so much fun. So you cranked the Fox 2.0's another 1" past 2 inches and it was okay huh? Nice. I'm torn between the SPC and Camburg Arms. SPC is a bit cheaper. Best I could find is on Amazon right now at $470 for the pair for the SPC.

That's about right, there were a pair on here for sale yesterday for about $350 with new bushings. Also helps to have a friend who works in this crazy industry. Cant go wrong with Camburg.

I won't quibble over another $100 or so for a good pair of UCA's. So what kind of rubbing are you getting right now? Is it on hard turns when the front end dips?

No rubbing at all and no problems with steering in full droop when turning.

Here is a pic where I climbed this rock and then I had to make a hard right. Tires were smoking. See tracks. Had no problem turning when I got to the top. My friends Jeep is running 35s and just walked up it. I had to use the skinny pedal.

So I just found out from Shock Surplus that they are going to have a pretty substantial black Friday sale on the Fox 2.0's. I found them on eBay today for right around $750, but with the sale on their website they might be cheaper, so I'll wait. Already got the JBA UCA's, so I'm good there. Going to pinch weld mod this weekend. Then I'll buy the shocks after Thanksgiving along with the 285's and then mount everything at my dad's garage, then drive it down to get aligned at an off-road shop nearby.

Did you end up pulling the trigger on the fox 2.0s? I’m thinking of going with them and wanted to see if you ended up getting them yet.

@Babyjake16 is owner of Battleborn Offroad - has a deal on some Fox 2.0 right now. I got my Bilstein 6112 / 5160 , spc , and icon rear leaf pack - was an easy transaction. Prices were great also.

My 2nd gen Bilstein set at 5/5 or top notch with 1/4 drivers side spacer , and leaf springs at level 2 setting. Should have given me 2.5” front 2.25” back - but I measured 2.75” LF, 3” RF, and 3” back lift.

I did go with Fox 2.0’s all around w/JBA UCA’s on 285/70-17 wildpeaks mounted on Fuel D569’s. The ride is better than stock by far and handles off-roading like a champ. I believe I chose well. If I do upgrade from the Fox 2.0’s I’ll either go to 2.5’s o the bilstein 8112’s. Not for a long while though.

If you don’t mind me asking, where did you end up getting the 2.0s and how much? Also, did you have to compress the spring to adjust them?

Don’t mind at all. I got them come on Black Friday from Shocksurplus.com, paid around $1k for the whole set and they came preloaded I believe at 2”. I didn’t by the spanner to set them, by I don’t believe you need to compress the springs to change the preload. You can though if it makes it easier.

On the 2.0 fronts you definitely need to compress the spring to change the preload.. You won't be happy if you try to do so w/ out compressing the springs.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. I have a spring compressor so it shouldn't be that hard to do overall.
