The left side of your truck is generally the driver's side in the US. L stands for left, R stands for right. Top of the coilover might have a sticker with which side listed, mine did.

I would try them out as they came and adjust as required. If your tires aren't rubbing and it looks the way you want don't worry about adjusting preload.

They generally don't come with the tool, check your invoice it will list if if it did.

That's what I was thinking initially, but I was looking at them and couldn't make sense of that. The way I understand is that the sway bar needs to move towards the front of the vehicle. If the factory bolts go through the empty holes, wouldn't the R bracket be the one that moves the bar forward?

    Edit:
Nevermind, it looks like they both would do that anyways. I guess one has a little bit of an offset. Thanks lol

To add to this I think the default preload adds 1”-1.5” of lift depending on bumper or not.

Awesome, thanks again. I'll leave it be for now but from the looks of it the driver's side will have about 3/4" more lift than the passenger side. Looking forward to getting started on it

Driver's side is heavier with the battery, driver and gas tank so you need it to be taller

Anybody getting a weird squeak noise from your rear shocks when you go over any bump? I think it’s the sound of the fluid moving as the shaft goes up and down. I can hear it while driving from the cab with the windows cracked an inch or so

Likely from your leafs, improper torque will make your bushings noisy, too tight and they complain

I’m positive it’s not my leafs. It’s definitly the shocks. Only variable that’s changed.

It’s likely the fluid moving through the shock. Anybody else experiencing this?

Nobody can tell me what the sound is? It’s very hi pitched coming from the rear. Positive it’s not the leafs. Does the valving make a noise? They haven’t before

According to what I’m reading online it can actually be the rubber bushings at the top mount rubbing against the metal bracket making the noise. This would explain the certain pitch I’m hearing. Sounds like one side (driver)as well. Probably just need to tighten?
