Regular LEDS, their website is unbelievably simplistic. Got them here a day early too. It’s not the prettiest website but do recommend. I’m not even sure of what CAN bus is but I’ve heard of it.

got a pair of '18 taillights with the black housing today and when i went to put them on noticed a huge chunk missing from the driver's side...

such a rookie move, didn't notice it when i picked them up and am too trusting of people to properly disclose stuff...anybody wanna buy a slightly used driver's side taillight with a huge chunk missing...

The CAN bus communicates with the vehicles computer system that let's the system know when the bulb is out from what I've read. Thanks.

I am somewhat surprised about the alignment. After 6 months I changed to 17 x 8 wheels and 265/70/17 street tires. 10 months later I put an older set of 265/70/17 KO's on 4runner wheels. After liking the setup I bought new 265/70/17 KO2's and put those on the 4runner wheels. Then my 5100's came in. Set to 0.65 to level. Had alignment checked and was spot on. After 11,000 miles on the KO2's truck drives straight as an arrow with no hands on the wheel. Zero tire wear after 2 rotations. Original balance is still good. Maybe I just got lucky.

Yeah I get that. Alignment specs are engineered by engineers. Not by Bobs lift and alignment shop. It is difficult to find a really good alignment shop. One of my cars is 20 years old and has never had an alignment. I took alignment classes when I was young. The only thing I have done to that car is fix the toe a couple of times, after replacing tie rods, or adjusted the tie rods to center the steering wheel. I am no expert but I know 1/2 degree out of spec puts you on shaky ground and can ruin a drive. I would like to caster my Taco wheels forward to get them centered in the wheel well opening but afraid to touch it since it does drive excellent.

Put these light decals on. They were cheap enough to see if I like them or not. Also got the first set of plates.

I don’t mean to be a smart elic but when the light no longer works I’ll know it’s time to change it!

Thanks and me too. Just a few more items and then aligning the dual projectors for a crisp cutoff.
