Thank you. About time there was reasonable experiance imparted other than sound bites.

I saw the aal as an option to wheel while I figured out what I wanted to do. See I hadnt seen b110 yet. Maximizing flex would be a nice option to chase. I know I wont get what I had in my jeep but something that would run some more aggressive trails in moab would be nice

Also email marie at headstrong they give good prices for TW members. She will also give you advice on your lift needs. As I was saying is cheap usually isn’t good for integral components of a vehicle. A trucks suspension is pretty damn important. If I were you I would save for a bit till you can afford something decent or buy bits and pieces at a time. Was not trying to be a dick. There has been people who run performance coilovers up front and stock shocks on the back until they can afford to get a rear set. If you stay below 2.5in most of the time you do not need new UCA’s unless you get extended travel performance coil-overs so you can avoid those for right now.

From what I can tell the extended travels only add about a half inch of travel. Is that right and is it worth it?

I get that. Question was more that is the extended travel worth the investment. Seems like alot of money for a small amount of droop. Seems like that would be a floated tire most the time anyway if you got that crossed up

From my understanding there’s different variables
it ranges between 1 to 2 in depending on the rest of your set up from my understanding

Hmm maybe going with the OME set would put me further on the path towards a decent setup with the dakars in the rear.

I mean it's all a lot of money for a part not many use to the full capacity. Same with tires. Same with everything else. If you're already looking at a premium coil over, the cost of standard and extended travel will be the same. The only extra cost is the UCA for extended that you'll need to run off the bat, which you could get away with not running on a standard travel.

I personally can't tell you if you will use that down travel. It yeild flex and sag. Sag means more time with the tires on the ground at speed , which means you'll still possess the ability to corner and make power.

All this stuff is completely dependant on what your are using the truck for, where you live, how much you want to spend at the end of the day , how mechanically inclined you are, ect.

Personally if your going budget just go ome or billies with an AAL. If you're going premium then do 2.5s in front, 2.0 in rear and a full pack. You're either lifting the truck for looks and light use, or you're lifting to work it. Just my 2c.

Specific questions work well if there's anything else you have questions about.

In all seriousness. No matter what setup you choose you'll most likely have to tweak it in the future.
It's all a money pit anyway. Get the setup that's gunna make you happy!

I live in Utah. I love moab but also love the high desert just exploring old roads. Flex would be a preferred benefit. Running whoops at speed probably wouldnt be my thing.

How much weight do you run in the rear for gear , payload wise? Do you tow at all ?

My advice to is browse the marketplace here. People are always selling parts. I got a set of Total Chaos UCAs for a great price with less then 5k on them

This trailer. I plan on moving most of the gear in it to the truck depending on the trip. Low mount tent rack and whatever will fit under the tonneau.

I've been monitoring the group buys and the marketplace. Just need to be patient I guess
