Trying to sort out final config for the truck, so I can start building/purchasing....

Pretty sure I know what I am after... need a cheap softtopper, and, someone local with a tube bender...... I can do the rest.
Or, I will have to purchase something, and mod the snot out of it....

And some racks... Rick, how is your fab guy making out?

Im leaning in that direction. I found a sketch I had drawn up of a rack I wanted to build for my Frontier, but, sold it before I did.
I have a few additional details to add as an after thought.
And ive been speaking with a fab shop out west that already has something similar to what I am after.. i can get it un-coated, so I can mod it for bike racks, etc, etc...

    Hi all,
I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays. & @Boston10Taco, I trust you are recovering as, or better than, expected....
So after tackling a few things, I got my CEL to go out :woot:, however I was/am still running sluggish on acceleration, whirring type noise, etc. Long story short, it's belt time. I've been lurking around & got some leads on kits from EBay. Also a highly recommended DIY vid, seal remover tool & a cam pulley holder. I realize I might be the only 1st gen on here, but I can't imagine any advice anyone can offer would be wasted. I must admit I am a leettle nervous about taking this one on. The list is growing of things I have tackled, so why not? Oh, & I can't use the cold as an excuse to put it off cuz I have access to a heated shop for 12 days as I am house/dog sitting for my aunt & I really wouldn't wanna put it off anyway cuz my poor truck's get up & go just isn't what it should be.... So any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.... Regarding the truck, that is :D

This time .....some place that is out of the cold . Or at least on a day that isnt windy. My parking lot at my job is big enough to fit a bunch of heaters.

Someone needs to bite the bullet and build a tacoworld shop for everyone to use all year. Heat and AC, nice air compressor, a couple of lifts. Balance and alignment machine...

Whose got 200k+ laying around looking for a use?

You and @Unchained 5150 can share funds, with all the extra when you combine I'm sure we can rush the construction. I have some open land you guys can put it on, but you gotta level the site and lay a pad for me

In all truth though some heated place with enough space to put a few trucks in to do mods would be a great idea.

I'll be first in line with a pallet of stuff. Let the mods begin. I don't have it yet but on the pallet will be a Relentless Fab Lower Stingray Winch Mount Bumper with Smittybilt X20 Wireless Winch.

My goal for this year is to get full skids, front, mid, rear, and gas tank, spider trax wheel spacers, cab chop mount, 285/70 17's, exhaust reroute, 40" LED bar for my rack, and rear bumper flush mount LEDs for more rear lighting. I was also interested in the hybrid front bumper from southern style offroad and the trail gear tube style bumper.

i have a garage that can fit 2-3 tacos at a time and stays at 37-40 degrees. Portable propane heater would easily keep it around 50. Fair amount of tools but not tons of specialty ones.

I’d be open to doing a mod day if that’s tempting to anyone. In savoy ma.
