    Pretty cool Jake...if there is one good piece of advice I can give you, it's...Get your own server! :) I'm not a fan of Flikr or photo hosting sites anymore...I use to use them but ever since I got my web server up it's been way better! :)

    But your site is looking good!

    i've done web development in the past and i've thought about making a website for my photography...but i've found flickr so much easier to use when uploading high-quality photos. with flickr, they take care of bulk uploading, thumbnailing, resizing, titling, slideshows, etc...whereas a personal site needs all that done by hand :(

    There are scripts for photoshop that can do all that for you with the exception of Uploading. Along with my Webserver, I also have an FTP Server setup for when I do web changes. With FTP you can do "Bulk" uploads at a faster rate as well, and you don't have to worry about quality degradation from your pictures when you are hosting it yourself.

    I don't pay any hosting fee's because the server is mine, and it's located at one of the Datacenters I work for, the perks of working in I.T :D My server sits on a dedicated 100mb Pipe (it's our backup pipe for when our main line goes down), and it's the only server using that pipe. Thats why my shots load up so fast.

    im still learning. playing with the "radius" slider and the "gamma" slider is weird but its soooooo fun!

    and will a polarizer help with the glare from the lights?
