Just wondering about moving my spare to under the OEM tonneau instead of under the truck. I'm wondering if the heat trapped under the tonneau will affect the tire's lifespan...

Nope. Why would you? The DC bed is small enough as it is.

I'm not moving mine, but I cannot believe the heat experienced under your tonneau would have any adverse effect on the spare.

I'm just not sure I understand why you'd want to do this. Need to put something else under the truck? The bed is already pretty cozy.

Agreed. The tire sits next to the exhaust under the truck and in warm conditions takes a lot of head from the road, I doubt there would be any more heat in the bed.

Yeah...upon further consideration, I'll just leave it alone.

You don’t want that thing flying around if you have to make a sudden evasive maneuver.
