Hey guys, someone new to TW, bought a set of nitto ridge grapplers 285’s on my stock 16” trd off road wheels AND they run the upper control arm a smidge a full lock. I don’t wanna get rid of them or change wheels. Just wondering if I’m better off changing the upper control arms OR adding a 10mm or whatever is required spacer. With that being said if I do a spacer so I need different lug nuts or anything like that? Thanks again.

I do have a set of 285’s on my 17” trd pro wheels and they don’t rub what so ever. Truck has a 3” ome lift.

The correct way is to replace the wheels with a lower offset, which you indicated you prefer not to.

Easy fix is a 1.5in spacer. Spidertrax or similar. I think you can re-use the same lugnuts
I dont think replacing the UCA will fix the rub.

Also, @hellaflushca is running a deal on new wheels. Price is less that what aftermarker UCAs will cost.

Nice wheels + 285 = No rubbing and looks better

If I do the spider trax do I need new lugs?

Yeah you need another set of the correct lugs nuts...to attach the spacer to the hub you can reuse your existing nuts to attach the wheels to the spacers
