Lets just say that two young kids + lift does not = fun... so I've been on the search for some side steps that will not only get the job done but will look good while doing it. After a lot of research I decided to go with Side Steps (AKA Step Rails) from AVID Off Road. Brandon @ AVID was great to deal with. He had fast email replies and answered all my questions. I found the website simple and straight forward, not to mention pleasing to the eye. If anyone is in the market... I'd suggest giving AVID Off Road a look. (I'm not sure if TW allows us to link to outside websites but you all know how to use google :))

Now on to the fun stuff... pics!

FedEx Delivered them to my work... ohh I'm getting excited!!! These things were wrapped perfectly. No damage.

    Freshly unwrapped...

After a fresh matte black paint job, it was time for install:D
All the brackets lined up with the bolt holes perfectly and all the bolts and washers were provided with the step bars. (only two of the three brackets per side are shown in the pic... sorry I didn't crawl under further to get them all in the frame)

They stick out just far enough to be useable but not to far as to be in the way. Perfect.

Great looking welds all the way around and the non-slip 3M tape works perfectly on the steps.

The next two pics are my favorites:thumbsup:

    Last but not least...

I love em... let me know what you guys think.

Does anyone know if I can get a setup like this for a 2nd gen access cab?? Like maybe only a step for the drivers and passenger doors and just slider for the rest of the way back???

I believe Brandon will build a modified version of his bars. Slider would need more stucture than the step bars I would think ...

Anyway, just need to chime in. Very pleased with his product!

    Awesome Nathan. Looks real good.

Tint those back windows and finish off the rear windows with a vent visor and it'd look complete IMO. Your wheel/tire combo is one the best looking I've seen on TW. Mad props man.

    Wow, looks great man.

    Did you paint them?

And any rubbing issues with that lift and tire setup?
