OV Tune did what to my truck?!?

Two second Gens and three turd gen trucks later, I think I might be at the end of the road for getting tscomas.

When OVtune hit the market I was quick to snap it up and it made driving my 17 PRO great to drive. And that was early in the Beta tune. Unfortunately, granny decided to fall asleep and go on the wrong side of the road at 40MPH. Totaling my truck. Outside it doesn't look bad, but considering my frame rails pointed in two different directions and the cab bolts sheered off, the truck was a goner.



I had a dongled unit that was set up for that truck. Naturally I was dreading spending another $700 on a unit for my new 2018 truck. OVtune came to the rescue and set it up....but the life of that truck was short lived. Close to $15k later in modifications I lost the truck and my home....but man was the few hundred miles I got in so not worth it lol.

PS - you guys are too gullible. No where did I say the fire was due to OVtune. I lost the truck and my house due to the woolsey fire that hit CA a couple months ago. This post mentioned how awesome the tune was and later down the thread I mention how it should be factory. Sometimes trolling can be a bit too easy. So simmer down.

And also pointing out the great customer service. As Matt could have easily said buy a new kit when I lost the first truck.

Battery is pretty low, might not have enough power to flash.

 

I blame that on low transmission fluid.

 

Yes @OVTune does have great customer service. He and @mesojdm need to be cloned so they can keep up with demand.

Was that the Woolsey Fire I assume? Sorry to hear about the loss of your home and truck, but glad you didn't get hurt. That was a crazy several weeks here in SoCal with all the fires going on.
