    Workin' on it....
What do you need a lift for? Jack stands work just fine.

I still have the stock suspension to swap in if I have to rebuild.

You must be a wizard, with jack stands and getting down under the truck it's a half-day project for me. Not to mention i don't trust jack stands

Jack stands are very trust worthy, when set up properly. Beyond that, you can stuff your wheels under the frame, as a fail safe.

Saw this video yesterday, shows the "factor of safety" when it comes to different jack types and stands.

Floor jack, jack stands and a spare set of 5100s. Easy day, 45 min swap with a second set of hands. It's only 5 bolts each side.

I get it, but I don't have extra hands, and I would do all corners at once. One and done

My rears have held up much better than the fronts, less weight so less wear and tear.

but doesn't the rear move more being tied to an axle? Do you run SPC UCAs in the front? Those UCAs seem to be the hardest damn thing to take part to service the ball joints

They move more but the back half of my truck weighs 1000lbs less than the front. How much it moves has less effect on the condition than the force it's exposed to.

Used to run SPC arms and the ball joint is a pain, had to change both sides out before I moved to my current setup. But the SPC setup is easier than a uniball setup to work on.

What in particular has you bothered? People talking about the installation of ADS shocks? People talking about the maintenance of ADS shocks? People discussing ADS shocks in general? I personally haven't seen anything I wouldn't expect to be in a thread about ADS shocks... Or is it people posting off topic emojis throwing up? Oh wait...

Given my shocks have only 8k miles on them, yes I will be spending more time learning how to do them with the limited tools I have and being the only one that can do it in my household. I am also a husband, father and bacon-maker, my priorities are different.

And for the record, I prefer WOT on sage filled desert/forest roads. What is "overlanding"?

    Congrats man!
I called ADS and told them some dude on TW said I shouldn’t buy their stuff if I don’t race or use my truck as a DD. They insisted that the level one non resi shocks aren’t for racing but I told them they were wrong.

Whoa man, calm your soul. No need to be angry, life is too short.
It's a forum, by definition that means share ideas and questions. Why are you getting offended by a thread that you don't even own, or get paid by.
If it bugs you simply...do...something...else. I come here for knowledge and answers from experts and experienced users.

I like you dtaco6, but sometimes you come off abrupt and belittling because you may have more knowledge than others. Some of us are getting into this and want to be educated, not ridiculed. Be professional man

Yeah I’m a snowflake, Danny from the OC...

You were the one complaining about this thread not being to your liking. You should start a new thread for people who had them first and drive the same trails and race the same series as you. I’ll make sure I don’t buy ADS though since you’d get mad about that apparently...
