    Okay so. Been a while since I’ve brought up a super controversial topic in here. So here goes.

    Let’s say there are two trucks with the exact same setup (same driver too so we don’t get individual skills involved), the only difference is one has 40’s and open diffs and one has 35’s and lockers. What’s more capable?

    I think it definitely comes down to specific situations but.... overall I feel like:
    Locker could better the odds for traction
    Bigger tires better the odds as far as clearance

    Steve, when we were at AOAA and I got on that shitty situation, you were not only spotting me on direction but also keep a great look out on when to lock and not lock as well as when to lock front and/or back independently and simultaneously. I dont think having bigger tires would have help much
