Are you just trying to remove it for painting or all together?

There are 2 push pins and 2 screws that hold the grill in place. Remove those and pull straight up on the grill. Once the grill is removed you can look at the back side and push the retention pins on the emblem. The emblem pushes off fairly easy (mine did anyways).

I think he just wants to get the emblem off the grill ?

Stick your hand back there behind it, you can't help but to feel the release clips....

I just painted mine today, dont take the whole grill off, reach down in between the radiator and grill and push the two push-pins. Dont be afraid to be a little rough.

Blacked mine this past wknd and looks much better.......man I need to get a life! I don't know what is more pathetic, the fact I'm actually doing these so called "mods" or the fact I'm actually inclined to talk about it online.. .....but I do love my taco. However I shalt not covet material possessions......whatever
