My .02$ I have a TRD offroad version of your truck.
Been trail riding forest roads all over New Mexico with a Jeep Wrangler trail buddy.
    Have never needed the locker.
Good tires and sometimes low range worked for me.

The mats are shaped for the dead pedal on the auto. I'll bet the mats would fit for the most part but you might have to make some adjustments/trim around that area. Compare pics of that area on the autos/5speed if you can and see if it looks the same.

You know I was thinking the same thing but I've actually got a dead pedal in the same spot I had on my old 4 cly auto trans. I really don't know what the difference could possibly be and the person I talked to at WeatherTech wasn't helpful. So I went ahead and just ordered them and I guess I'll just have to see how they fit and potentially make some adjustments.

I did not like those. The plastic is too hard and very slippery when wet. I think I picked up some heavy duty rubber ones from one of the auto parts stores, maybe Pepboys that was trimmable to fit. Can't find them in an internet search.

I got some weather techs for Christmas. I like them, they definitely came in handy right before all the snow and nasty ness trekking into the runner.

Also... anyone in nobhill area with a pickup? Have some big cardboard boxes from furniture set that have been set outside. Of course before the snow so kinda nasty. Would rather not load them into the 4runner. Next option is to throw them on top but seems dumb haha

Ya that's understandable my gf has some in her Rav4 and they are kinda slippery but not terrible. I guess I like the idea of the weather techs creating kind of a bowl, the mats I have right now get a bunch of stuff under/around them because they don't wrap up on to the door seal.

Man too bad I didn't check the thread last night I was down in the area if you haven't figured it out by next week I'm sure I'll be around again.

I'm guessing that's why they are slippery, have to use a rigid plastic to form the bowl. They'd be awesome if they bonded a softer layer to the bowl surface. Hmmmm, maybe I should patent that shit.

I ended up ordering a set of Husky Liners for the front of my truck. They were normally ~$100 on most sites. I just found the part number and searched it on Amazon and was able to get them for ~$30 cheaper. I like the way the Husky's go further up under the pedals.

I looked at those but after reading some reviews it seemed like people were having issues with fitment. But if the ones I got at least I can return them and give the husky’s a shot.

1A7DF609-9E17-41E0-90A6-07AE2E6D2D04.jpg I got the truck tinted today, some TRD rims from a buddy, and 265/70 Pathfinder ATs. I’m liking it so far a bit of a change.

No problem, really the only place I would trust to regear or add a locker. They do great work, and always have some pretty awesome toyota builds going at all times.

Can they do the roller bearings on the front? I'm 66, a little old for that sort of thing.

I’d stay far away from TAV. I hear the owner is a douche and has screwed over two friends.
