Apparently not. Choosing that size was arbitrary. The only criteria were less than 2.0, and not 1.9 because that was too obvious.

 

So, what regular boost numbers are you seeing?

 

Regularly up to 15psi when it's above freezing. More if it's cold, I saw 17 once.

Going to be ordering some smaller pullies. Curious if its universally recommended to get the rip mod, or is there any reason not to?

For only $100 for the quick change and rip pulley its a much better deal than urd I have to say. If I buy it for you it gives me an excuse to come back out to Az!

They do them once a year up here by me, more often down in Phoenix. But no smog check in flagstaff, so basically every mod is legal

It's right off the manifold on that little nipple that sticks vertically right by the firewall. Yes LT headers, no cats of any kind, URD y-pipe.

 

He has got to be past adiabatic efficiency of the supercharger at this point for sure.

He took a page off the GTP and Regal GS owners who like to spin their blower to 20 psi. Basically the moon. Hahaha.
