Agreed, we aren't sending a rocket to Mars...I would have to think that any varation added with the use of a crows foots would be minimal at best.

It’s based on a force applied at a foot’s distance, so if you’re off to the side at 90 degrees then you’re really close to a foot still and you haven’t changed much distance so you’re absolutely correct.

@Freeheelbillie it depends on the length of your torque wrench. If I assume you use the 2" suggested adapter, a torque setting would be:

    50.5 ft-lbs with a 12" long wrench
    53.1 ft-lbs with a 18" long wrench
    54.5 ft-lbs with a 24" long wrench

It's not insignificant but not something to overlook. If you find a different adapter, you multiple the desired bolt torque setting by the ratio of the wrench / wrench + adapter.

Is that the same seal as 90316-A0001? I just pulled my passenger side off and that's the seal on the backside of my spindle where the axle goes in.

Yup you lost me with that one. My seal that mounts to the back of the spindle where the axle goes through and then into the hub that was 90316-A0001. Both the driver side and passenger sides will be the same?

The seal that goes into the inboard side of the steering knuckle is different than the one on the CV. Each seal on driver's side is the same as driver's side.

My google-fu is weak today. Is there an aftermarket substitute for PN 90304A001? Local dealership is three days out on that part and they are $30 each! Already have the passenger side of truck apart and discovered a trashed dust seal, which is probably at least part of why bearing failed.

I was afraid of that. Ordered the ones local. Looks like she will come apart again next week.

Also for anybody watching/following along here, don't scoff at the seal driver/puller set. I dicked with the inner seal for nearly an hour with the spindle on the truck. Got it in a minute and a half after renting the driver kit from O'Reilly's.

Bed Tie down's, Heated Mirrors, HD radio, Wet Okley seat covers, Intermittent wipers, side rails, tailgate cap.

Installed yesterday and I am back in business.

Truck is running nice and quiet again and as a side benefit the brakes are back to normal as well.

Thanks again for a quality product and fast delivery.

Received mine, they look great and we're packaged well. Bit of grease I presume to prevent rust which is always good.

Perhaps this is a dumb question, but do I need anything else to make this swap? The speed sensor or anything like that? Or do I just unbolt the old and bolt down the new?
