Does anyone know how to remove the center seat belt

    I have a regular cab tacoma and want to remove the center seat belt it is easy to remove behind the seat but there is a little buckle that attaches it to the floor and I need to undo this little buckle Please someone help. I have my entire interior ripped out need to deaden before monday

    is the part that connects it to the floor plastic?? kinda like a shell??

    getting there....
    there should be bolts that hold both sides in place that you will need to remove to get the seat belts off. you may have to slide the seat forward or back some to get to them.

    I just want to undo that little buckle I know you prob can because gsm has taken out his seat belt

    if there isnt a button, maybe take a flat tipped screwdriver and see if it can be unsnapped apart. may be about the only way to do it.

    I did this to mine right after I bought it. Simplest way is to get a small screwdriver or pick and separate the plastic shell. I depressed those two little buttons and away it went. It's been a while since I did this, so I apologize for the fuzzy details. Poke around like I said and you'll get it.

    For the life of me, I can't figure out who would want to sit there anyway :)

    thanks for the pics and info. just did it myself, and you are right, im not sure who would sit there, other than an infant midget......no where to put feet and legs?? oh well, i dont use it, its done for!!! thanks again
