It is. Try going up an on ramp with the AC on high in the summertime, foot to the floor. Merging into interstate traffic at 40 mph is scary.

 

What you should do is park it in the garage for now and let those carpets/floorboards dry, especially with the rain we are having. Its not going to dry. Not sure about the 98 but your drain should be easy enough to access and confirm its not clogged.

Isn't yours an auto? My 3RZ I can't really feel the AC compressor on. But holy crap you can feel it on the cruiser which has more than enough torque and hp to run it

 

Word I’m gonna park my 5 lug next to the 6 and see how mych of a difference is

Thats the 22re im talking about. All Toyota trucks in this family have manuals in them. My 3rz does fine with the AC on.
