Cut the forks off two other bikes and pounded them together.
Worked great as long as you didn't pull a wheelie.

Good morning. House cleaning and grocery shopping today. Supposed to warm up so may even try cleaning out the truck some. May just grill or smoke something instead. Or both.

I feel deprived now no banana seat or chopper handle bars. Had a newspaper route and lived outside of town, deliver route was about 3 miles and it was a mile each way to pick up the papers. English 10 speed. Seems like didn't get to use it much spent a lot of time walking it. Because snow. Damn snow, was a pain in the ass even then now that I think about it. Got a Honda XL 125 younger than most because I had money from working and trapline fur money. Wait there was still the snow thing..

    Morning all

I have turned I to my father.

We have construction people staying here and all I can think is how they have messed up my routine, used my stuff and forced me to engage in small talk.
I don't make dinner or clean, because my routine has been interrupted

    Crap, that's what Dad did.

Long paper route's with not many papers.... add me to that list, but no "fun" bike to ride. Enjoy those babies.

    Staying with you?

:hattip: morning all. Whopping 37* here with rain coming this afternoon/evening. Have a fun one, all.

You youngsters with your fancy modern bikes. My first bike was one of these. My birthday present circa 1961 or '62.

And yes, I delivered the paper using this bike til I earned enough to buy a 10 speed.
