6" Fabtech coilover lift. 35/12.50/17 Mickey Thompson MTZ, 17x9 ProComp 1089 wheels painted black, UWS black lowprofile toolbox, husky liners, tacoma bed mat, bed lights, Premier stereo, Cobra 19 cb, firestik 3' antenna.
Ordered my Fabtech 6" w/ DirtLogic Coilovers on Saturday. I got it from a local shop ( www.topguncustomz.com). They will be installing it once it comes in. Fixing to order Mickey Thompson MTZ 35x12.5x17..... and I can't decide on a wheel yet. I'm thinking Motometal 955 or Procomp 6089 polished. I don't wanna do black. Everyone and there brother around here is doing that now. Anybody have any other suggestions?

I'm hoping to go all-leaf in the rear eventually.

I've got a slightly random request for somebody with a 6" lift hopefully in this thread...

I'm looking at doing a 6" procomp lift, possibly another brand but 6" nonetheless, with 33" tires...

Can anybody measure from the ground to the top of their roof for me for an overall height? I don't have roof racks so I don't need that included in the measurement...

I park in a covered parking spot at my apt and it looks like I've got about 8" or so of clearance above my roof right now, at stock height. I need to know if I'll still fit in my spot before I jump into a 6" lift!

This would help me out huge, thanks!

why not just add 6" for the lift and 1" for the tires, so a total of 7" to the height of your truck as it sits now?

I've done that as a rough guess, but becuase I've only got about 8"of clearance right now, I'd like to hear someones actual applied height... If I had 2 feet of clearance I wouldn't care, but in this case its gonna be close so I don't want to end up with nowhere to park

My truck currently measures roughly 6'-4" to the highest point on the cab. I have an 07 OR Access Cab with Fabtech 6" lift and 33" tires. The typical garage door is 7'-0" and I fit fine except for the antenna. Had to get a stubby one because I was annoyed with hitting it all the time.
I looked back and my stock was around 5'-9.5" and just after lifted it was 6'-5". That is right at 7.5" (6" for the lift and 1.5" for the tire height difference).
I know my rear leafs have been sagging alot and with tire wear I am down a whole inch on the overall height since the day I got my lift. Just checked and the rear drooped 1" and the front raised 3/8". The increase on the front is probably from the LR UCA's that I recently installed.

All in all you will be 1/2" from scrapping the top of your truck when the lift is new. Too close if you ask me, but you always have adjusment in the coilover to drop it down some. I think my front was slightly higher to begin with and now with the droop the truck is definately not level. Hope to get some new Alcan leaf springs to fix that soon though.

This is EXACTLY what I needed, thanks for the detailed measurements! I wonder if my landlord will be upset if I dig a couple of 6" deep trenches in the cement under the carport....

Everyone who's got a 6" Procomp lift... possibly any 6" but I've got a procomp specifically coming in the mail...

Is there anything else I need to worry about besides what comes with the kit? Do I need to extend any break lines or anything like that? I know there are a million options of things I COULD and probably SHOULD add to the kit, but is there anything necessary besides what is included with the kit?

    Thanks!

I would recommend not using the 3 inch block & AAL that comes with it... change to leaf packs, either OME, Deavers etc. You getting the level 1 or 2?
