I wired it to power outlet 1.

Like @oneup714 said, power outlet 1 is the cigarette lighter. The lights will come on as soon as you have accessories on. They are also on with the engine on. They only turn off when you turn the truck completely off.

As mentioned before, I also drive with my DRL's on all the time so I didn't feel the need to tap into the DRL circuit or headlight switch.

Personally I think I’d use that money for something more useful for the vehicle.

I guess, I just mean I don’t understand the point to adding this. I’m not saying it’s bad. I just don’t get it.

I dont get why people keep calling these "raptor lights". They're standard government wide vehicle markers mandated to be on any vehicle 80"+ wide. Theyre not exclusive to the raptor.

Honestly does it matter what they are called. I see people posting this silly stuff. It doesn't matter. Some people like the look such as myself.

I’ve said this before so why not again today, I do a lot of desert trails and amber lights are the only thing that cuts through the dust, so I use them for safety and being seen in the mirror of the truck in front of me. Even LED DRL’s are hard to see through dust, these are brighter than the running side markers as well

    Not my desert photo :)

Here's a Meso Cover under the dash. Stock cover has the fuse in the same place. 63AFFF4A-AA55-4890-A780-74443A7EEB94.jpg

No, I hooked it up under he hood panel -right headlight fuse. Mine come up with headlights
The only way to get these lights turn on w/ DRL is cutting into DRL wire

This might sound odd, but I want mine to come on with my fogs. Has anyone attempted this or know which wire color to tap into?

Ok, got it. Thanks for the photo with the info. Will the cigarette outlet have enough power to be used to charge electronic devices while the power outlet 1 is being used to power the grill lights?
