Redfield is made by leupold, Ive been satisfied with mine for an entry level scope. Only thing that keeps me from leupold is the fact that there stuff is Mil, I prefer MOA adjustments.

All this scope talk is funny. Ive actually kinda quit shooting my scoped rifle. I figured I may aswell have fun with irons why my eyes are still good. No problem hitting man sized targets out to 600 yards.

Lol. Its been awhile though. Maybe Ill go to a match towards the end of this month and get back in the swing of things. Most guys at my local club seem surprised that I shoot irons at 200 yards like Im capable of some rare feat. Back when I shot competitively a lot that was the distance Id get a zero at.

Now is a better time than any. First time I’ve seen this in a long time.

I’m going to look into the cowl TSB Dan mentioned, it’s for 01+ but might apply to me.

Apparently the HMMV/Hummer H1 Cummins Detroit Diessl isn’t very good. My friend’s father owns a 2000-ish Hummer H1 and he’s always talking about the issues he’s had with it. How limited the power is, the inherently bad fuel delivery system, etc etc.

He’s planning on taking it to a company down in Arizona who would put a Duramax Diesel engine to replace it for about $30k. He says it’ll have more power and solve all of the issues that the engine has.

Fun truck. I’ve ridden in it a few times. No one would ever touch the true beadlock wheels it has, he had to go to a heavy diesel shop that services School Buses and Semis to find someone who would work on it. Central tire inflation system is also leaking badly.

I mean, it’s the stock Toyota windshield installed in 1997. I’ll do the hose test but I doubt it’s an improperly installed windshield.

Yeah, you’re right. I remembered that wrong. What he said was he could choose between a Cummins or a Duramax, but the Cummins would have the same issues.

Stuff dries out and shrinks, definitely run a hose over it though

It was the Detroit Diesel that it had, I mixed up his story around.

He’s had the fuel delivery system fail him multiple times, I forget what he wants to replace it with.

No doubt. Could be a mix of a few things. I’ll have to pull the carpet back and see what I can find.

Before anything else, you need to check that little drain tube. Make sure it's not clogged.

This is my DD, only about 100,000 miles. Rolled over 100k a few months ago. It’s been parked outside ever since it was new, so there’s a good chance the windshield seal is bad. I doubt the Butyl under that went bad already but who knows.

Is that right next to the steering shaft?
