So I have been holding on to 92 YJ as my beater/project/future vehicle for my son. Well I have hit the point that using that sitting value is probably smarter in other places but damn...

I guess my OR will see more trails and things it is built for and probably the mods and scars that come along with.

Still a tough thing to swallow but it just allows me to focus on the TACO right!

I had to make that decision with my 78 landcruiser,
    I went the opposite route.

Too much love into that beast to sell it.

Should be lots of fun building the Taco though! I'm definitely jealous.

Keep it. I have an 88YJ. It’s just chilling in the barn waiting for the taco to be finished.

They aren’t really worth anything so all you really get is more a garage space.

I would keep it. I plan to get an older Jeep as a project so I don't totally wreck DD-ability of the Taco. Probably when the son takes the 1st gen over.

I’d put the money into the Tacoma. Yes mods don’t add value but the mods your doing on the truck could be sold for closer to their original value since it’s a newer vehicle. That’s saying you decide in a few years you want something else. With the old wrangler anything you do to it is almost throwing money away since it’s not as desirable and obviously very old.
