Well it looks better... Especially from 10+ feet lmao

I could have taken more time and prepped a little better had I been home alone. But the paint itself desipte being the right paint code, is a warmer white than my truck. Maybe it'll cure and look right. Otherwise I may sand it all down and try again but with super white. Fuck it lol.

Next step is remove that ugly fender thing on the rear and the dealers decal on the tail gate.

So the thing about paint codes that I try to explain all the time is that they have variants. The 1st truck and the 100th truck sprayed from factory with the same paint code will be different because as the guns develop a slight build up it minutely changes the way it lays down. This is especially noticeable in vehicles with pearl and why even if you had us mix up a quart of paint to your code it might be slightly off.

Paint them black, they will match each other and give a nice contrast with the truck. It will also set off wheels and tires

Nice I'd let it set for a bit, shine up the black, and watch it even out.

Yours is the first post. A little dirt I can handle (next time)! Hope it was a great ride, because I plan to make the next one!

Indeed, and the darker colors get worse over time in the sun. Not complaining, but my "impulse red pearl" is now "Sunburst red pearl" with a decade plus of weathering! I just got my doors and roof redone for rash, and when he broke off the clear and redid it, now I have consistent "clear" over the flare red, the side red, the hood red, and the roof red!

You're white fix will be fine!

I did my light things this afternoon, and will make my LBR album thread for shares, but I did a "mystery thing" too!
