The tracks are the tule tracks that you order when purchasing the camper top. The feet mounts are Prinsu that came with the toprac

So I have a question, I would like to replace the rear 1 inch square bar that mounts behind the antenna with one slightly bigger like 1.5 inch square. The reason for this, I want to mount several Feniex Fusion surface mount strobes on that bar and they are just slightly taller than 1 inch. what is the nomenclature for these bars if I was to order a pice from some one who manufactures them?

anyone have the 40' Heretic Wraith mounted on the 40' slotted wind defector plate? Am I right in assume that Prinsu provides the bracket shown in this video for mounting like this guy has done? I did order the light from Prinsu and it says there are brackets provided, but want to make sure both sets are provided (both the Prinsu and the Heretic brackets)

Here is the part of the video that shows the mount:

    https://youtu.be/NsQ0FJJZeN8?t=205

Sure seems like it...of course I can confirm with Prinsu, but just asking here to see how this went for other people..

I can't speak if they come with them because my rack is one of the OGs. I also don't have a wraith but I have a 40" heretic bar. You can buy the mounts for $20

    OK...so just called Prinsu.

They're drop shipping the LED from Heretic and the Prinsu light bar brackets are included (as of right now at least, I supposed they could change what it says on their webpage, but it indicates the brackets are included as of today) but shipped separately from Prinsu. I actually ordered the light from Prinsu rather than Heretic specifically for that reason. So there you go....

Maybe this is already captured in this thread somewhere, but....

Another interesting challenge I ran into was the brackets included with the toprac I got made it so the crossbars for that were higher than the crossbars for the cabrac by about a 1/2 inch. However, I noticed in the install docs (that I had to request from Prinsu, were not provided with either rack when I ordered them directly from Prinsu) a shorter version of the bracket that was not shown anywhere on their website. I called and apparently those brackets bring the rack down a 1/2 inch! So I had to order/pay for those so my racks line up. Here is my truck with the uneven racks...waiting for Prinsu to ship the other ones so I can have a level rack. There is almost two inches between the bottom of the crossbars and the top of the canopy, so clearance should not be an issue with the lowering.

Apparently these lower brackets are going to get added to the website so you don't have to call to purchase as you do right now.

In my case, that is what they shipped me. If I were to order again, I would call before and see if they can be swapped out at no cost before shipment.
The guy I talked to said there was apparently issues with clearance of the crossbars, so that is what they ship....but my canopy fresh from Leer this month has plenty of clearance (almost 2 inches) from the crossbars.

The alternative mentioned to me by the Prinsu guy was to use spacers to raise the cabrac to the level of the toprac. I didn't want to do that because:

    1. I bought the Prinsu racks because they are low profile...so I don't really want to raise them if at all possible.

    2. Its a PITA to take muck with the cabrac. Mine is on there, I don't want to mess with it.

    3. I do have plenty of clearance to lower the toprac.

Hard to tell from my photo, but my racks are very close to being same height. My cap is a Leer 100XR

I didn't order anything special. Just the stock rack. Not sure why some guys are getting taller ones.

Here is the part of the Prinsu install instructions that shows two different brackets sizes. They only sent me the ones on the left with the rack, had to pay for the others that they are shipping and I assume will look like the ones on the right.

well i got the lower brackets to day and they are WAY TOO LOW. As in they are a good 1.25 lower than the brackets that are .5 too high. I talked on the phone with Prinsu support, and they suggested raising the front which I still didn't want to do.
So I'm going to get some spacers and use the these too low brackets and see if I can get this solution to flush. I don't know what to say, but I'm relatively sure that this will work and I'm bummed it didn't work out of the box but whatever. They are going to allow me to send back the brackets I don't use for a refund, so at least I got that going for me. Off to tilt at windmills.

Since my OCD can't handle the height difference and neither Prinsu nor Leer can give me an explanation I'm just fixing by using the low profile brackets (the ones on the right of the picture I posted above), and crafting spacers/washers by ordering four 4 -1/2 inch long pieces of aluminum flat bar that is 1/2 in thick by 1-1/2 wide from metaldepot.com. :headbang:
Then I just need to drill holes in those, paint them black and slap them under the lo-pro brackets using some longer bolts and I'm in jail like Flynn.
