OK, I’m calling a friendly bullshit on that photo. Nice Robin Hood! but the arrows are in the wrong direction to have been a 50 yard shot. No bow in the world can shoot 50 yards and put an arrow that straight into the target!:D

Good point, didn't even notice that, but now I think about it all my arrows were ridiculously straight all day. Next time I'm out there I'll take a video/more pics and prove it, hopefully not another robin hood though

Well our area had 12-16 inches this weekend and I was just looking at the extended forecast. Looks like a another storm is brewing, they’re saying 8-12 more inches on the way.C08924F7-5AAA-4550-94EE-42B0EEC5D95C.jpg

Just rain. I wish we had a couple of inches of snow. It's been above 32* here for the last couple of days.

JMO, I would NOT go to either. Find an archery pro shop in the area and go there. Even if it's an hour drive. A pro shop will do a much better job of determining proper draw length (emphasis on correct DL cannot be overstated), draw weight and such. Most pro shops you will be able to shoot different bows and pick the one that fits YOU best.

No, I don’t feel like tromping through 12-14 inches of snow with all my hunting clothes and boots. Most of my stands are quite a ways from where I park. I can hunt Wednesday and Thursday so we’ll see what happens. I’m to the point now that I just want to get it over and get ready for shed hunting.

That's exactly how I feel. Getting tired of it. I'm going tomorrow afternoon then putting up all my stuff. Post pics of sheds when you find some.

I'm still stupid new to archery and hunting, so I'm just shooting targets for now, but might change that next year.

I could have sworn that I'd seen plastic hi viz peep sights before (like the stuff the light pins are made of), but the only I'm only finding the TruGLo with the 4 dots. The one I remember seeing was just just an entire peep made out of that hi viz plastic and it was cheap.

Anyone have a clue what I'm looking for?

Saw 5 does today a few minutes before dark. Way too far. Tick tock, it's almost over.

Today and tomorrow will be the last of my deer hunting for this year,I’m almost glad it’s over. If I had to guess I’d say I probably made 100-110 trips to the woods this year and burnout is starting to set in. Time to gear up for another type of hunting,SHEDS. I’m hoping for a Hail Mary to end the season, like the screwballs on TV...you know...last day, last hour, last minute and they kill a big one. How do so many of them,do that so often??46AD2DD5-24AB-4951-872D-E7ACF1BE80D9.jpg
