What price is everyone getting 285/70/17 C-rated/ 6ply for? i got quoted $260 each. Terras are $200 each big jump in price.

That's a huge difference for sure but they are two completely different animals too. My ultimate goal is to run Terra's on the Ray 10s and put the Ridges on steelies or something cheap for winter and off roading.

Yes, but....you need them regardless. They are bad ass tires.

The Ridge Grappler is a new breed of tire, referred to as a Hybrid. It even has a M/S (mud and snow) rating (on the sidewall). They are definitely more agressive than the Terra Grapplers.

The Terra's are actually not that bad off road. If you are not gonna do it a lot, and with the rain down there, get the Terra's. Or there are other choices. Check out Goodyear Duratracs. Or BFG KO2s. Here's one you don't hear about much. Pro Comp. They make a great tire. Look at the A/T Sport. They have a crazy good warranty. Some sort of "if you're not happy money back deal" too.

i used to work in a auto shop so im pretty savy with tires and what not. its been years and dont know the nittos. Im not a GY fan. BFG are awesome but kinda wanna try something new. ive had Cooper AT3s on my exploder that were good but dont want them. when i get my alignment today ill check out the nittos and see what will work best. thanks for the info.

Yea, I've run just about everything. I loved the Duratracs until the set on my 4Runner delaminated at 30k miles. Why I am running these. I will only buy Nittos from now on. For off road, Ridge Grapplers.

$231 each are the ones I’m going to get.
Other place said they were undercutting price, turns out that is for 265 70/r17
Said I couldn’t fit 285/70/17s on a 3” lifted 2018 Sport, but since I don’t believe that is true, I’ll be paying $231.00 each for set of 4 Ridge Grapplers
    Good luck!

Feels good that someone in here thinks it is s good price; thanks!
I don’t like it that one place—local, popular, my former Wrangler guy recommended them! says “they won’t fit”, other place said it is “no problem to fit” on their 3” lift.
The lift kits are different too. I like the one with adjustable Bilstein shocks up front—AND that’s who is tryna sell the 285 size Nittos instead of smaller 265s.
I’m gonna find out! They’re running 3 weeks out so by Feb 1st—update on progress!

After warranty and everything mine came out to $280 a tire. Most I've ever spent on rubber ( giggty  ) but have been really happy with these tires.

I paid $200 for 265s from family members friend in the business. So you did real good on that size!
