Ever since my wife got an XC90 with door handle and puddle lights, I’ve needed these for my truck.

I came across the switch panel because I was looking to see if the gasshole was back in stock. While I was there I need to see about the fuse panel cover. Since neither of those were in stock and I already had the coin holder, I decided to see what else he had. Now I know what he has available for future reference. I guess I am becoming a Mesohead. If I don't control myself I will become MeSoBroke.

 

Already on it The T4R version will have a T10 adapter soldered on so it will plug into the existing puddle light connection. For a true plug and play.

Yup. Once you have them on a vehicle you kind of get spoiled and use to them.

Ugh, I’m betting I’m gonna have to do a lot of tinkering to get something like this for an SR model.

I was spoiled with my tundra and GX having puddle lights, so I’m hoping these will be a viable option and not too painful of a process to get to work on my barebones truck

 

I don't think so. The SR has the same mirror(minus turn signal) as TRD models. So the lower replacement panel is the same across all models.

 

Oh awesome!! I learned the hard way I couldn’t just add a home link mirror to my truck as Toyota didn’t even run the wiring or harness up in the headliner

So I wasn’t sure what else Toyota skimped on and leaving out wiring wise for the SRs since I learned that.

 

Where’s the 2nd gen stuff i need more of your products!

 

With ANY model, you will have to run wires through the door boot. That's a given because none of our trucks are prewired for puddle lights. That said, the only other variable would be if the harness is present in the drivers side A-pillar in the SR models(where these will tap off). I don't see why it wouldn't be.

That was going to be my next question for everyone. 6K are pictured on the 4 runner, and VLED's told me they will be making a 5500K version which I might try out.
