Howard Stern Fans?

Page 6 has an "exclusive" on her about running 3 clubs in Greece. They didn't quote it coming from Howards show but I am sure they will pick up something for tomorrow or later today

 

Yeah, they're talking about all of that, and have been for a bit. Howard is trying to understand it, and what she does exactly.

 

AH. She's promoting some TV show on MTV. That's why she's there.

I think she started some reality show. That’s what google says. Maybe she’ll take her shirt off like she did a couple of years ago for attention. I’ll catch the show later.

Has anyone seen Artie Lange lately? Holy shit he's a mess. His nose is F'd because of all the coke.

Also after seeing his nose and reading a little about him, I didn't realize his and Howard's relationship was so messed up.






I also never heard about Scott Salem's wife passing away of cancer in 2018. And supposedly there's some issues behind that because Howard never mentioned it or helped in any way. Not sure if that's just rumor or that Howard purposefully didn't mention out of respect for Scott's privacy.

Yeah, basically Howard cut Artie off when he stabbed himself on a scheduled Stern show break. I think Howard never talks about it because he feels in some way responsibile for enabling Artie to fall back into drugs due to the relatively easy gig for lots of money he had on the show. Not that it’s actually Howard’s fault, but with how neurotic Howard can get I’m guessing he feels betrayed and somewhat to blame.

Artie’s life has been pretty messed up since he was a kid. His first book, “too fat to fish,” is a pretty good read if you’re ever looking for a book to waste some time. When I finished it I knew Artie wasn’t going to last on the show. He’s way to self destructive and is definitely one of those people who will always sabotage himself no matter how much help people try to give him because he feels he’s completely worthless on some level.

Howard avoids talking about Cancer I think because of Robin. I don’t think he deals well with mortality and I suspect it’s one of the things he doesn’t want or feels he needs to address on air. I heard the same rumour and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true.

 

That being said I thought Artie brought something to the show that has never really been replaced. Sal, Richard, and the others are just not as funny or well timed when they come in and comment on the show.

 

Yeah, I did read his book and knew all of what you said. But according to what I've read Artie is pretty bitter and says Howard hates him. I never thought anything like that until just reading it. Sad if true. Artie even threatened to tweat out Howard's phone number and said some crazy shit.

I hope the Scott stuff is fake news. That'd be pretty F'd up to completely ignore Scott's wife's cancer even off air. Being that, that he's been working for Howard forever

I agree though. He definitely added to the show. I listen to Sternthology and the shows he are on are definitely different in a good way. I don't hate the show without him, but it was definitely good with him.

That being said, and I think I've said it before. He was so funny on the show but his stand up was awful. I never found anything he did off the show funny or entertaining at all. Weird.

 

Pretty much everyone whose employed on the show is horrible at stand up from what I’ve heard. A lot of them are only funny because of how far they are willing to go. That’s not usually a trait that works out well on stage where the shit they do on the show could result in charges. Like Howard has said in the past, he’s never had trouble attracting people who are willing to do just about anything on the radio.

 

Wednesday’s robin song was pretty good.
Just itching to hear part 2 of the underdog interview.

 

Yeah, the Underdog special was good. Definitely looking forward to hearing the rest.

 

I would love to have a fly camera on here for a day or so to see how she lives life on her own. Everything seems to be a struggle. She is pure gold.

 

Yesterday's special about the birthday bash was a good show.
