I’ll do y’all a favor and not watch it. Every time I watch an eagles game they lose, with the exception of the super bowl last year.
That’s the first time I saw them actually win a game in many many years.

    :notsure:

2003 Supercharged Tacoma here in Phoenixville. I've been here 3 years and havent gone out in the mud anywhere around here. Not even sure where to go. Maybe some locals can point me in the direction of some easy to moderate stuff to check out. (???)

Since this thread seems to have a lot of locals and theres a bunch of ears to throw a question out: any comments about a good shop to take a Tacoma too for work? looking for a reliable mom/pop family owned kinda bussiness. trust worhty and resonable. Please dont recommend any stealership guys. I just took my truck to a Monroe Muffler place to get a bung welded into the down pipe for an AFR gauge yesterday. I was little put off... they charged 400 bucks. They said it took 3 hours. I think that's BS. They didn't even have to take the pipe off... drilled and welded right in at a location accessible at on the pipe under the hood. Noe trying to find a routine "go-to" shop.

I was so pissed off I came up with a funny idea but after thinking about more... I dont think its actually funny but maybe a great idea. I'd like input from others as a survey of sorts: I was thinking about making a pressure switch for hood and connect it to box with a timer inside. One that would capture the time the hood was open. I do realize this would not be a perfect system being if a mechanic were to walk away for any extended period, the timer is still counting down. But my guess is it would be accurate 90% of the time. Most shops get vehicle moved in-n-out fast. They want that turn over. The timer could also be hooked up to the doors too I suppose so that when the vehicle is parked and locked down... the timer shuts down too. I wish I had one on the truck for the Monroe job... I'd be willing to bet that truck had the bung welded in and was back out in there parking lot in an hour. Comments?

    Welcome Mike.

Sorry to see you got taken a bit there.

Stick around - most of us wrench on our own shit & we get together often. We have some professional mechanics in the mix as well to keep us honest (@loosnut @TOYTONKA ) and a firefighter to kinda keep us from blowing ourselves up (@TinyTech626 )

Speaking of wrenching. Looks like I need front brakes. My last trip to the dealership shows that my brakes are 3/32nds in front and 6/32nds in the rear. Are front brakes something that could be done on a wrenching day with some friends with tools? I feel like my dealership is pretty good to me regarding price and not jerking me around. Just not sure what costs I'm looking at regarding brakes.
