I know, maybe not a 3rd Gen question but this is the only place I hang out. So why cover your tag? If I see you on the road it’s not covered lol. I can see not posting a VIN number if you have a Pro or you would have a bunch of Grills ordered under it but that’s about all I can think of.

Internet anonymity, I suppose. Just like they don’t use their real name, either. It is easier to troll that way.

You would hate Va, my county has one deputy and one state trooper that each has cameras on their cars that run every tag of every car they pass. Sometimes they circle parking lots just scanning tags.

Keep private what I can. If I passed you along the road, odds are you wouldn’t memorize it. Nor would you be able to look up my info if you did where I am. Guess I grew up before the generation that tweets or does a Facebook update for taking a shit or getting dinner.

And there’s not a thing wrong with that. I was just curious about different ones reasons.

I’m all about privacy but I could care less about the plate. People drive by me, in front, and behind me all day everyday.

lol didn’t figure you would, or at least hoped not! That’s just my reason for it. Although some here do get offended on one another’s “opinions.”

I would point out that the 'ignore' feature works extremely well. ;)

I understand that, in today’s linked world with just what I post here y’all could find my IG account, then my FB account, would know where I work, what I drive and probably my exact address all without trying very hard at all. And if you find my address and want to come on over just let me know. I got a bumper to put on soon and some hood vinyl I could use some help with lol.
