That is really impressive! Reminds me of the guy on here that is fitting a Chinnook camper to his 2nd Gen Access Cab

Hey everyone - new to the Tacoma scene in town.

I'm looking at getting a lift kit - are there any recommended places in the cities for a good/reasonably priced install?

    Thanks!

Appreciate the offer! It sounds like it isn't overly complicated... but I also find it hard to believe that there aren't any shops in town that specialize in Tacomas... not enough of a market here?

I know zeusoffroad.com has done a few Tacoma's. 4wheelparts in Brooklyn Park have done a few as well.

Too many Jeep shops up here

I had a good experience with Zeus off-road. When I wanted my front runner racks installed from ANOTHER shop they gave me a very good quote but then later refused to do it. They said they wouldn't do anything requiring drilling into the cab and I told them they don't need to I already showed the tech the instructions, it bolts into factory holes. Manager claimed tacomas don't have factory holes. I told him that's not true it bolts to the factory holes designed for the factory rack so he just backtracked and said he still won't do it. Then for my canopy rack he said matching into my canopy's factory rail holes would be too hard. I needed to replace the Thule rail with the front runner rail because the mounting hardware isn't the same.

Zeus did it for a reasonable price, cheaper than 2 other quotes I got, without making excuses about how hard it was or blablabla.

3 days of pusting drifts to n from work my front end is snow packed. The stupid trd skid plate is pulling snow and trapping it in the front.

This pic makes me really miss home :p

Went home to Edina for the holidays and had to shovel snow for the first time in years. It still amazes me how shitty people drive with a little snow on the ground.
It’s the same out here in CA with a little rain. So ridiculous

That’s one of the many reasons I left. It’s getting worse by the year each time I’m home to visit.... South Bay and the peninsula are especially atrocious.
