In. Used the 10 amp ING fuse in underhood box. Used plastic loom on the wires with zip ties. Took my soldering pencil and put a tiny hole in cover. Pushed hot lead thru and soldered fuse tap. Left a little extra wire to remove cover. Real Happy . Posted another pic. Put the wire thru the plug like in some of the videos. It's easy actually and worked better.

There is no need to cut the fuse box cover. You can run the wire through the larges harness [closest to the engine side).
Pop it from the box, right side of the harness is moveable - up and to the right.
After that, run the wire and put everything back

I saw that post. I actually have a bolt on cover where the wire goes that will expedite other connections .

Question since I'm not savvy at electrical stuff, if I took the power (red) from the raptor light harness and directly splice it into the DRL power, do I need any of fuse in between? Also would I still need to attach the black cable (ground) to the truck?

you'd still need the ground but wouldn't need to fuse it, no. This is how mine is connected at the moment.

No problem! I'll say though, if you choose to go that route I'd advise you to solder and heat shrink the connection and not use the T-Tap like I did.

Which is the best method to wire and power these grill lights?...so confused with multiple methods.

A: Soldering and heat shrink, run power wire with add a fuse to engine bay fuse box and place in one of 10A slot.

B: Soldering and heat shrink, run power wire with add a fuse to in cab fuse box and place in power outlet 1 slot.

C: Runnin4Tacos method, splice wires to DRL and
    headlight green and pink wire?

IMG_20190114_154043.jpg Redid the power connection. Plugged the little hole. Just ran it under the plug like in the post . Too lazy the first time. Plus Beers were involved. Lol
