    Hey y’all
I’m planning on hitting up big bear this weekend 1/5/19.
One of my buddies can’t go anymore so it’s just me and another friend (who’s riding passenger).
Anyone else going? Care to meet up? We plan on heading out early morning at 8am from LA area

Happy new year Mario...nope haven't run that one yet, the one time we thought about doing it last month there was too much snow up there so we did White Mountain instead...how about you?

Nah, I want full skids first. Have you run “little” JB which takes you to the main trailhead? That’s one is pretty knarly

Nope, most difficult Big Bear trail I've run is Gold Mtn. I'd be up for trying John Bull once the snow clears

@lesterb315 you still up to hit a trail tomorrow or Sunday if it's just the 2 of us? Either day works for me. Might have a friend of mine or maybe my wife ride shotgun depending on which day

Not really but I got a video of me getting stuck on the final 2N17x hill climb before it meets with the regular Pilot Rock trail....the ruts and shelfs were considerably bigger than last time I was there from the rain and more traffic on the trail I guess.

I obviously gave it too much throttle here, almost like I wanted to blow out my rear diff lol. Gets hard to feather it in 1st gear on a hill with the manual trans without it wanting to stall. Rear/driver tire was in a ditch and didn't have the size/traction to get over it, I eventually realized I could just hug the side of the trail and go around it lol. Supercharger sounds good though

We found snow going up 2N34 into Lake Arrowhead almost right away

yeah a front locker would've been nice there. Or M/Ts even...loose wet dirt from the rain the day before didn't help matters.

My rigs dual cased dual locked. I always go to lo/lo before I throw on the front locker. That get's me up and out of 95% of obstacles. The locker gets me out of the other 5%. If you wheel hard dual cases are the single biggest game changer you can do to your rig.

Any of you guys run 2N06x 'Largo Flats' trail up in Big Bear? Thinking of doing it next weekend with @DarthPow if any of you guys are also interested. Supposed to be a short and moderate trail that meets up with Holcomb about halfway (?) through.

Probably going to be a ton of snow up there after the rain this week, heard on the news yesterday that they're expecting up to a foot of snow by Monday alone. Would probably mean that I'd skip Holcomb unless someone else that's done it before comes along and knows that section of it well
