Damn it. Cleaned off the vehicles and shoveled the drive an hour ago. Now it's snowing again and coming down heavy.

Nothing too exciting. Set up a perimeter around Michael Kennedy’s house waiting on SWAT to kick the door and he kept disregarding the police line trying to get a better camera shot.

Funny story about that incident. Since I pushed him back where he could not see anything interesting for his story, his camera operator was just getting typical B roll footage to run in the background while they talk about the story. I saw her a few days later at the courthouse and asked about the footage she shot and aired. Specifically the close up of my waist and crotch. She turned red and stammered about how she wanted a close up of my equipment.

I replied “Well... you got it. And now my friends are calling me Officer Johnson.”

Just watched a 1st gen slide through a stoplight and spin 180°

Edit: 4wd don't mean shit if you don't know how to drive in this stuff.
29 in Centreville is a hot mess

Stupid question but is it cool to drive about my last 6 miles home on the parkway going 45ish in 4x4 right?

thanks i figured as much i know the manual says you shouldnt go over 45 in 4x4 and i know its way different than awd. I'm actually happy this my first time using 4x4 besides for wheeling! Snow kicks ass!

You can go as fast as you want in 4wd! Just need to be below 60ish mph to switch from 2hi to 4hi. I went out to the mobtown shop today (170 miles round trip) and was in 4hi going about 45-55 mph for the majority of it.

BTW I’m loving this snow everyone. Got to pull someone out of a ditch earlier which was fun for me and the kid was thrilled he didn’t have to wait for a tow truck.

oh damn thats awesome. thats good to know. i never use it for bad rain or anything and havent really had any issue yet. but im pretty sure i have to be in neutral to switch from to 2hi to 4hi? or am i completely wrong? thats how ive always changed it back and forth so far.

Nope, you can switch back and forth on the fly! It’s switcing into 4LO that you have to be stopped.

When I switch between 2hi and 4hi, I just lift my foot off the gas pedal and it pops right in. If you stay on the gas it may take a second or shift in a little rough.
