    None!!
Take the nose off; take 10 screws out ; squeeze the 6-8 chrome clips which frees the chrome bezel leaving grill attached to nose; snap in the black bezel; reapply the 10 screws; snap nose back on, 2 pop rivets, and 2 10mm bolts; plug in the TSS. Done.

    “Squeeze the 6-8 chrome clips...”
Thats the part I meant. Almost impossible to squeeze or apply any pressure to get them removed without a small hairline crack at the base of the chrome clip. I used my hands so I could enaure I was applying the minimum pressure required to be able to remove them (instead od a tool where I would have been more prone to over squeeze) and yet I had cracks in various sizes at the base of every clip.

    Got it done. Fairly simple.

Mine is an SR5, not an OR, but I wanted the chrome bezel blacked out so I found this thread. THANKS. I took the bezel off, didn't beak any clips, painted it black with Rustoleum "bonds to plastic" semi gloss black, and reinstalled. It looks much better. Time will tell if it is a viable alternative to replacing.

That’s what I’m looking to do. To replace the bezel does the whole grill need to come out? Is there somewhere on here on how to do the bezel only. Thanks

Removing the grille from the truck, and then removing the surround/bezel is the only way I’ve heard of it being done.

Definitely have to remove the whole thing, not that hard just have to take time removing the clips and it is pretty simple. contemplated ordering the blacked out part, but instead decided to use spray plastidip and love how it turned out.

You have to take the whole assembly off the truck. Once the assembly is off, you can unscrew the bezel part and pop it off. You can leave the main grille portion attached to the rest of the surround.

Seriously considering just going to a local company that wraps vehicles and having the chrome strip done. I'll have to see what the cost is compared to doing it myself.
