I was just on my way to do the same thing then got the call the kid self-recovered...he was doing donuts in an empty parking lot and somehow managed to get stuck!

On another note, my son just crashed our Kia on 66, hitting a guide rail. He was able to make it home but the car is a hot mess...I think he bent the rear axle not to mention major front bumper damage! Uggh!

 

That sucks. Hope he's alright.

Down here.. Someone is having a bad night. Just came back in with the dog and could hear a chainsaw running in the faint distance.

So, we went back out in my buddy's S4 to do more snownuts.

Literally, every single large parking lot had a police car posted up in it. The larger ones had one on each side. Wat.

 

Already got a notice from work saying that base is open tomorrow but leave is authorized. I'll decide in the morning depending on how the roads look. If I'm lucky, maybe, they'll update the status.

According to OPM, I get a day off with pay since we follow the DC offices for inclement weather.

 

Had a blast playing in the snow today. I was suprised how covered the roads were this afternoon after they had already cleared them this morning.
