Any plans for smaller LED, would be nice for a little something but I don’t need to light up my neighborhood with them.

Dimmer is not in my vocabulary.
But you could always throw a resistor or voltage regulator in to knock the voltage down.. thus making them dimmer.
Sorry, I don’t do preorders

@mesojdm - Does VLED make a pencil beam that may fit in that location, as well? I'm just thinking that a flood beam may be overkill for this particular application, and something like a pencil/spot beam may eliminate some of the glare on the door while still providing enough light spread on the ground. Just a thought.

No they do not unfortunately. I had some universal pencil style leds but they were really deep, and would have to hang down quite a bit.
My thought with a focused spot (I have not directly tested this yet)would be; when you open the door..the mirror goes with it, and also the spot beam. It may illuminate too far forward and not where you need it, directly under the door to see when you get out. Just an idea though. So I figured a flood would remedy that

Anyway this would work with an sr5? Not sure if you’re tying into the turn signals on the mirrors. Would love to some how retrofit the turn signals onto the mirrors some day too

I posted this a few pages back, but the SR/SR5 uses the same mirrors(minis the turn signals) so this part will work. Go outside and look under your mirror for the bottom cap that has vortex generators on it(like the picture in my first post) just to confirm.

    Good routing diagram!!
But they will both be going up to this connector. That’s where my OEM T harness will go that has a sub harness(puddle lights, etc) coming off

Not sure if you're keeping count, but I'd vote for 5500K 'temp' range as well.

I agree but I’m good with 5000k since that’s what Baja Design uses :)

About to snatch up my 2019 Taco soon and a set of these would be a killer 1b mod to do (1a is an OVTune already purchased)

    Count me in
