I am so sorry I am just now getting back to you. I was dealing with a vehicle predicament of my own earlier. I'm glad you got it!

    Its alright. I appreciate it!

I ended up losening both radiator mounts and the steering shaft to get the front cab mounts out. 10/10 worst mod install of my life. Hated every minute of it. All 6 are now on, proper torque spec and copious amounts of super lube and antisieze on everything

Dont worry, they'll start making noise like an old Ford Bronco at some point. I absolutely loathed the install as well back in the day but I am glad you got it all done and are back on the road!

Saw that. I think I'll put the 4 piece kit on my truck. May also do the cab mount bushings at one point. Still haven't decided what mods I want to do.

Anyone know if the two cab and radiator bushing sets will work with the 3rd Gen?

I’ve looked on the Energy site and it only lists the 2nd Gen. Just want to stay ahead on maintenance.

3rd gen cab mounts are different designs in comparison to the 2nd gen. Radiator support mounts may be the same, but I have never looked at a 2nd gen radiator support mount bushing to be able to confirm or deny that.

Thanks, I’m sure Energy and others will have 3rd Gen sets in a matter of time.

    Update 2.0

I finally lubed my Camburg UCA's a few weeks ago...no change in the "clunk"

Found a thread on here somewhere while drinking beer and cruising the forum Saturday about an LCA clunk, and that it can be caused by over-tightening.

    Light bulb went off.

I check that everything was tight all the time, but not really to spec, just the German way, "goodentight". So with the truck on the ground on all it's weight I loosened the UCA's and LCA's in a methodical fashion while also jumping up and down on my sliders to rock the truck. Torqued everything as I went and voila, clunk is gone so far (only driven about 30 miles).

Now it's just squeaks, which I can live with, this "clunk" bothered me lol

I guess what they a thread taught me is the get ORM replacements for all of them.
What I don't get is why you all talk about weight being added to the truck such as winches. That's supported by the frame, not the body... so it won't increase pressure on the bushings...

In case anyone is having trouble getting the top thick bushing in place since the sleeve sticks out quite a bit....a well placed stock bottle jack works wonders. Since it's braced against the frame it lifts the rad support exactly how you need it.

So that’s the reason Toyota included those little wings up front, neat!

It takes the install from "this is impossible...never going to happen" to "Oh, easy" in seconds. :D

I have been pulling my hair out for a couple weeks now on the rad mount install. I don't know why I am having so much trouble with it, but I have them installed the way everyone says to (thicc bushing on top) but now I have a thud/clunk which I didn't even have with my stock blown out bushings! After being installed for a week I decided to do an inspection. What I found was the washers are being damaged by the tube that's inserted into the big bushing. It's as if 34 ft-lbs is too much, and was bottoming out the tube to the washers? So i decided to re-install but this time with about 25 ft-lbs. But i still have a clunk/thud over bumps. I did also notice that it was pretty difficult to line up the frame to core support holes to get the bolt to drop down on the driver side, which I know means my fender is warped from the battery. After i let go with the pry bar I cannot simply push the bolts back up. Which tells me that that the clunk I'm hearing could be the bolts rubbing as they are misaligned in the holes. I might try to install the bushings I got in the 8.4109G kit because I honestly think they are a better design since the top bushing has a rubber protrusion that would insulate metal from rubbing on the frame perch holes, unlike the 9410 kit. I don't know, I need an outsider's view on my issue here. Picture is the washer from the lower bushing.
