Leave the bed stock and let them bedsides flop. Once you get a tool box in the bed and a spare tire you will have no more space to put anything. I can barely fit my cooler in there with the full length bed a tool box and a spare. I trimmed up the lower part of the bedsides and built some sliders for then and just ram them into the trees and rocks, I can only think of 1 or 2 times where my bed hung me up on anything.

TLDR: bobbed beds are dumb, just build a Jeep if you hate storage.:D

I do like having the space. no need for a tool box or spare tire tho. I have a swingout. only thing holding me back is my softtopper. I need it for my camping trips

I wouldn’t bob the bed since yours is already small. I basically bobbed mine down to the same size you have now. I don’t think the bobbed look on a double cab is great anyways plus your besides are gonna look funky after it anyways from the welds. And your gonna have to move that swingout and cut the frame.

    Is that the meadow?

How was it? Need more of a trip report than that. It is a sexy pic. But won't answer the question I keep asking.
